Publishing Perspectives

How can news content be displayed on mobile in an engaging way? A group of five students set out to look for the answer in 2014, back when mobile-first news content was still unchartered territory. Atomization and contextualization was the answer. Learn more about it here.

Teaching & Mentoring

Career Foundry

Since 2019, I'm mentoring students online at CareerFoundry and acoomplany them on their journey to become full-blooded UX designers.

Manipulation Machines

I taught this fully remote course at HTW Berlin in summer 2020. It was a sull-semester major project about digital psychology and the pifalls of dark UX patterns. The results can be found here.

Future HMIs

Taught in 2018 at HTW university Berlin, this 5-day design sprint aimed at developing visions for future human-machine interfaces in cars.

I was fortunate enough to work several years with Europe‘s biggest content marketing agency. Starting as an intern in 2012, I worked until 2015 as a freelancer and got a chance to learn from some of the best. 

New Eden

During my studies at HTW, together with Alex Venus I designed a print book about video game environments called 'New Eden'. The project garnered admirable reporting and awards.

Since 2012 I've been making print posters. Sometimes for clients, small events or just for fun. That's it, no more than that.

Athena

Based on my bachelor thesis, I developed the principle of VR prototype to a market ready industry tool while heading a team at Goodpatch Berlin.

Bachelor Thesis

For my bachelor degree, I set out to explore to possiblities of the human-machine-interaction with autonomous driving vehicles. The result was an interactive VR simulation, showcasing a vision of future urban shared mobility.

AI.OS

In 2016, Vivien Schnelle, Alex Venus and myself set out to invision what a fully Voice-UI-based mobile operating system would look like as a semster project at HTW Berlin.

I’m a multi-disciplinary digital designer with more than eight years of experience. I build digital products as a freelancer and lecture about design at HTW Berlin. I practice Ethical Design and write about it, too.
